We will begin with a complimentary 15 minute meeting where you tell me what’s led you to seek a career coach. Together, we’ll decide if we’re a good match and how we’ll move forward to get you where you want to be. Whether you are currently finding your way, adjusting your path or creating a whole new journey, will determine what we do during our sessions. For many people, one or more of the following topics are appropriate:

  • Career Exploration
    • Sessions, standard career development inventories and “homework” to examine some of the hallmarks of career decision-making, including interests, personality, values, skills, abilities and characteristics.
  • Resume, LinkedIn & Cover Letter Development
    • The purpose of these job hunting tools hasn’t changed, but the current style and format are different than even five years ago.
  • Interviewing Skills & Practice
    • Sessions to learn how to prepare and practice for an interview including what the interviewer is looking for, and ways to come across as an excellent candidate.
  • How to Network Your Way to a New Position
    • Developing and maintaining a professional network is THE most important facet of a successful job hunt. Learn how to create and best use this vital resource.

Additionally, I have the necessary academic requirements and certifications to offer clients the gold-standard inventories in career development: The Strong Interest Inventory © and The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator ©. You have complete flexibility to decide where you want to focus our time together. Sessions are offered by phone, FaceTime or Zoom, depending on what you prefer.
